Style
Around half are new, in traditional or semi-traditional style. Most are rated three-star plus by tourist board standard. All properties include at least one colour television. Cooking facilities include an oven, hotplates/rings/gas burners and a grill, microwave, toaster, and kettle. There is also an iron and ironing board, a fridge, and duvets and pillows on all beds.
Linen
Linen is available at an additional cost of £6 per single and £12 per double bed unless otherwise stated. Linen is not available for cots and does not include towels.
Heating
Almost always included in the cost. Around a quarter of properties have open fires or wood burning stoves, and in most of these the first basket of logs or fuel is provided.
Facilities
Cots are available, included in the price, at around a quarter of properties. Babysitting is not offered.
Short Breaks
Dates vary but broadly are available in the winter season.
