Provides information on around 180 private language schools and assists in choosing the most appropriate course, after a discussion with the client generally sending out details of around four recommendations. Tuition and accommodation are then booked.

France, Germany, Italy and Spain plus for adults the Czech Republic, Holland, Japan, Portugal, Russia and Sweden.

Ages

Junior Vacation courses during the Easter and summer holidays are for students 12-18 years. A few schools provide courses for younger students but most other courses are from 16-plus. In France there is a school which provided intensive French with GCSE and A level courses in other subjects, year round.

Accommodation

Generally with local families to provide further exposure to the target language, though some schools provide residential accommodation for students of mixed nationalities.
How Long From one week to a year.

Learning

In classes for around 20 hours per week in summer. Family immersion with one to one tuition is also offered. There are also referrals to organisations which offer a year abroad programme studying one to three languages in one to three different locations.

Other Activities

Junior courses combine language study with sports, excursions and other activities.

Sample Price

£350 to £450 per week plus travel costs, depending on the country and how intensive the course. There is a booking fee of £32 + VAT per person.
