A holistic education centre run since 1982 by a resident community, with help from visiting volunteers. The main building is a fine Victorian rectory, set in 11 acres of grounds, which can sleep up to 35 visitors in shared bedrooms. Group rooms and communal areas are heated by wood-burning stoves. Other resources include a meditation hut, a healing room, a library and facilities for arts and crafts.
Food is vegetarian and fully organic, some of the property's our own organic vegetable garden. Our small farm provides us with milk and eggs and we have our own water supply and reedbed sewage system. We have a commitment to a sustainable lifestyle.
Offers family weeks for example at February half term with a range of crafts and activities with an experienced crafts leader plus skills of community residents. The week includes group and sharing time plus time to play in the large group rooms or explore the grounds and surrounding area.
