The Algarve, Corfu, Costa Blanca, Costa del Sol, Cyprus, France, Florida, Gozo, Gran Canaria, Crete, Ibiza, Lanzarote, Lisbon, Mallorca, Malta, Menorca, St Lucia and Tuscany, with around 500 properties.

Style

Depending on the destination - standard issue high quality modern whitewashed on the Iberian peninsula, slightly less so in Corfu, Crete, France and Italy, with some more individual options.

Year round, heating being charged extra.

Facilities

Cots are available at a range of charges, included in the £25 price for under twos in Europe, a flat £20 in Florida, £40 for St Lucia. High chairs are available in Europe at £15 per week except in Italy and only at some French properties. Pre-bookable baby packs are available, including an Avent Electric Steam Steriliser and bottle warmer, to all destinations except France, Tuscany, St Lucia and Florida. Meon is also offering a ‘holiday nanny' introduction service in conjunction with UK-based childcare agencies.

Extras

Except in Italy and France a welcome pack of enough for a light evening meal on arrival and breakfast the following morning is provided free. A superior pack, costing £15 per person ex infants, includes more food and drink. In St Lucia the maid/cook prepares and evening meal on arrival plus the next mornings breakfast. Regularity of cleaning depends on area but additional cleaning and linen changing may be available for a surcharge.

Sample Price

A two-bedroomed property sleeping four, with pool, in peak season for one week would be £2,168, including flights and car hire.
Except in France and Italy all children of two-plus both attract a discount and count towards the party size. In Europe the discount is £20 per week and applies to 15 years, in Florida it is £140 for the first week and £20 for each subsequent week and counts to 11 years. In St Lucia and discount is £150 for the first week and £50 for subsequent weeks, valid to 11 years.
