The operator would recommend a two-week trip with a week visiting reserves such as Berenty and Perinet which it feels are easy enough for children, followed by a week on the beach and reef where some hotels offer diving, snorkelling and other water sports. The only dates it would suggest avoiding would be late January, early February when it is very hot and rainy. April (their autumn) June (winter) and September (spring) are all specifically recommended.
