Style
Country homes mostly, either restored or built in traditional style. Turismo de Habitacao is a network of manor houses owned and run by Portuguese families offering an apartment or suite in often elegant surroundings. Also offers the odd, slightly florid modern option. Around half of properties have pools.
Season
Year round - the majority with heating available, payable extra.
Facilities
Cots and high chairs either available or on request at all properties, charges depending on the property. Babysitting may be available on request.
Extras
Possibility of arranging extra maid service and cooking. The operator will also try to meet any other requests.
Sample Price
A villa with pool for four comfortably would cost £1,698 for a fortnight high season, flights and car hire extra.
