Type of Riding
Either trail rides from village to village or hacking out daily, in small groups.
For Children
Welcomes from 2 up with ponies as well as older and more experienced riders with for example games of horse ball (roughly netball on a horse) gymkhana games, and lessons. Self-catering if preferred. Recommendations include les Juliannes in the Tarn in France, and Tuscany where there are ponies and horses of all sizes suitable for all abilities. Teenage children who ride are welcome on some other rides, minimum age shown in the brochure, along with minimum ability required.
Sample Price
For a week in the Tarn over the summer school holidays £606 per person including flights, £430 self-drive, small discount for children.
