Australasia Australia Reader Reports I cannot recommend the Kewarra Beach resort more highly which is located about 5 miles from Cairns, within walking distance of Palm Cove. It is a lovely hotel, made up of bungalows in its own rainforest. It has beautiful gardens, fantastic pools made with natural rocks, it is on the beach and has incredibly friendly staff. On our 6 week trip to Australia it was by far the loveliest place we stayed. Our children age then 4 and 8 loved it.
