Learn French and Survive and Learn Spanish and Survive, are CD-ROMs created by Language Arts with interactive comic-style adventure games (you have just 10 hours to rescue Harry, the television reporter you met on arrival in Mean City) to teach survival vocabulary. Users are ‘given' a phrase book and city map to help obtain vital information from the characters met. The story features more than 400 moves with 14 characters and relies on a gaming element plus humour to keep users' interest. £19.99.
