Practicalities Getting Organised Sleeping Making Sleeping Easier

Children, like some adults, are fussy about changing the place they sleep. Taking some of the child's own bedding is helpful as it will feel and smell familiar. If the child has their own travel cot you could take that if it will be practical to transport it.

For slightly older children a personal sleeping bag might serve the same purpose. There are fun indoor only options.

Also worth considering if you are going to stay with friends without enough beds is taking your own light air bed. Again, if the child is already familiar with it it might be better than an unfamiliar bed.
